Speaker Upgrade with Amp

Hi all,
I have recently got my 2.0 tsi scirocco and I am loving it! There are a few things I want to do: Remap, lower and speakers are first on the list. I am looking at getting some pioneer speakers and I am not sure if I should get an amp as well. These are what I may buy.

As the speakers max output is 260W and the amp is max 400W I assume the amp will not hold the speakers back? Or will I need minimum 260x2 (for two front speakers) + Rears, so around a 600W amp? Anyone know the max power of the standard system?
Will they sound bad if I just swap the speakers out and don't install an amp?
