You can't add DAB to a non DAB unit as such. The hardware inside is not there for DAB radio. However, something like this might be of interest?

The bloke popped up on another forum advertising these and selling them, but I think Admin reckoned it was commercial and dumped the post as I can't find it any more. I'll go have another look.

Viking, thanks for your help and guidance with this and I'll have a good look into it.
Cheers

One thing to consider, you could sell your RNS510 and buy a DAB one for about the same outlay, and have a system which doesn't have a doohickey fix. The RNS with DAB will be able to fall back to FM when it loses the DAB signal whereas the add on won't be able to do so.

I see you're in Darlington. If I come across a DAB unit I'll let you know.

What concern? Bear in mind that you'll also need a DAB antenna for the piece I posted earlier on.

The concern I have is, The two rear windows left and right which have very thin orange antenna like lines in them but are different in make up I also have the GPS roof antenna so concern is more confused what they are.
Earlier you saw I am in Darlington are you near by .

Just over in Richmond mate.
The rear window antenna setup isn't too complicated, but I'm not too sure personally how they're configured or which side specifically does what. Essentially you have two antennas and the radio selects the strongest signal from them.

Ok mate I think I'll have to wait until I get another unit and then sort it out.
Richmond, nice place I'm told, I've not long moved up here so still finding my feet.
