Hi all,

Has anybody got and/or used drag slicks for the likes of Santa Pod 1/4 mile.
Im going stage 3 soon and theres no point running with road tyres.

So i wondered if anyone has experience and knowledge on the subject and what are a good front set to go for perhaps.

Not used drag slicks (drag racing is not my cup of tea as they say) but I've used slicks on the track on a track day car. Totally transformed the car. You could accelerate harder and brake later as well as corner harder but that was only when they were warm. When cold they were worse than budget road tyres. I believe the set I had were Dunlop but it's been a while and had no issues. I picked my up as a 'part worn' set from a local racer which is the way to go to check if you like them or not.
