So I'll apologise if this isn't the correct section

I bought my 1st scirocco last Friday. It's a 2014, 2.0 TDI with sat nav and leather seats. I thinks it's the GT model but could be wrong...how do I know?

A couple of NOOB Qs
How do I know which BHP engine I have? Looked about the net and there are various ones and I've confused myself on the best way to find out the engine/BHP, thinking of getting a chip fitted

The start/stop hasn't worked yet, I'm putting this down to it not being over 4 degrees since I've got the car, it just shows the symbol with a line through it on the display...is this normal? I know there are certain criterial that need to be met for it to work

A wild guess but maybe it's in the manual of your car? Otherwise you can check your license plate online to retrieve your car's specs.
There is a certain treshold for the start stop to work. I thought it was 10 degrees outside temperature.
Personally i would disable the start stop function but thats my opinion. I would always choose a tiny bit more consumption over a lot of starting and stopping stress on your engine.

Thanks for the reply, after a bit more digging I found that out and it's a 103kw engine, so 140bhp

You're welcome. With a remap you will end up somewhere around 180 hp and 380 Nm.
