Windows in winter

Ok, I know this isn't a topic that anyone really cares about during summer......

Do any of the longer term owners have any comments on using the windows/doors in winter. The frameless door looks very cool but what happens when it freezes. The manual suggests keeping the seals lubricated but any real life experience would be interesting.

If the glass has frozen to the seal, scrapping off the ice on the outside of the glass would seem to me to have little benefit, even providing the scrapper wasn't in the car!

Got mine in January, then the big freeze came, even when it was minus 5, the windows never froze up so i never encountered any problems.

A quick wipe across the seals with a silicone based lubricant once a month will prevent freezing, you might want to scrape ice off the bottom inch of your windows though.

You got to keep the seals clean or they creak over hard surfaces like a trooper. Same with the sunroof!
