Stupid Question

I should probably know this but i don't know lol my old car had markers but this dont i dont know either to buy oil or if its fine?

That's got markers too.
Top it up with about 0.5 litres of 5w30 that meets VW504.00/507.00

Which ones do you buy, is it those castrol ones at bp petrol stations?
Also which type do i buy?

Just buy a good brand oil Shell, Castrol, mobile which is
approved under VW 507.00. (Longlife 3)
And read on the description that the oil can be used with a diesel partikel filter.
I use 5W30 on my car and it's on longlife interval. I wouldn't buy it at a petrol station very expensive.
Best is to order large quantity, the cheaper it is.
Also measure the oil level when the oil is cold and engine is not running.
