Installing a subwoofer

Hello everyone,

Just joined the forums, I have a few question regarding installing a subwoofer in a Scirocco 1.4 from the year 2008.

I've tried to find speakerwires, but it's impossible for me to get to them. The panels in the back are really well made and I don't want to break them, by forcing too much..
Does anyone have any experience with installing a subwoofer into this car? I live in The Netherlands so my guess it's impossible to ask you to help me in real life.

Thanks in advance,
Stephan Bisschop

Hey Stephan!

I had a subwoofer installed to my car.
A active one placed in the spare wheel space.
I took the signal from one of the backdoor speakers (high-line). And then a normal + to the battery and a - to the chassie.

Unfortunately i think you have to remove the plastic. It's kinda tricky but you will fix it ;)
If you don't use a aftermarket headunit so you can use a normal low-level (RCA)
