Differences between the 2.0 TDI engines

Anyone know what they are? Google isn't particularly helpful with this, it throws up a ton of reviews for different VAG cars but nothing remotely what im looking for.
I thought there was just the 150 and 184 TDI which would have the obvious differences with injectors, turbo, ECU etc. I've since seen that the Passat comes with a 190 and 240ps TDI. What's different on these? Minimal difference on the 190 I'd have thought but 240 is obviously quite a jump.
The scirocco would be good with 240 4WD TDI. Maybe something to look at once the finance runs out.
