Scirocco Central

Hello, I'm new to this site and was hoping to get some technical advise. I have a 64 plate scirocco r and recently had it mapped. The power was increased from 280bhp to 320bhp, the torque and boost were also increased and the car was amazing to drive until when fully accelerating on the high end of the Rev counter the car kept going into 'limp mode' and I had to turn off and turn back on the engine. This kept occurring every time I pushed the car and after a diagnostics it was saying over boost. I had the car back in the garage 3 times and they couldn't overcome the problem so I had no choice to take the map off and have the car back to normal. Even though it's still quick I miss the extra power I had and would love a map back on it. What id like to know is if anybody has experienced this problem or know of any ideas or ways to overcome the problem. Or any other technical advice as I know next to nothing about engines. Thanks in advance.

What company did you get the map done with? Iv had nearly every car Iv owned mapped and never had this problem. I'm about to get my R mapped and will use revo.

I used a local garage. I didn't ask what map was put on it. My own fault for not doing any research. Can you recommend a company to use, I live in the north west of England. I take it the revo map is the best as you've done most of your cars with this?

Revo or APR mate. They will have a map on their websites for your closest.

I'm a huge revo fan so can recommend !
