Very quick question if someone could identify this rocco!

So i'm looking at buying this Scirocco next weekend -

On the description it says 200ps, however Autotrader have identified it as the 207bhp model. I spoke to the seller and he says he's not entirely sure but remembers it being the higher powered model. Is there anyway to check?

You've got caught between two engines there. Between 09 - 10 VW upgraded to the mk6 golf which came with the 211ps engine compared with the 197ps engine in the mk5. During this time they also facelifed the scirocco slightly with new dials for the climate control and other small differences.
You have the same as mine, the new steering wheel but old climate control dials which would suggest to me it is the 197. Don't be put off as you really won't notice the difference.
I can also understand why there might be a conflict of information between the dealer and autotrader, nothing to worry about

Just done a quick "my car check" and it is 200 as stated by the owner

Ah really! thats a shame, I did a bit of research and the new engine came out in November and that car was first registered in november so it must have been just a bit too early!

Yer same as mine too. Old climate new wheel. 197ps.
