Bi-Xenon - Replacement Bulbs? 6000k?

Hi all,

I've looked online but can't really find any replacements. Currently my bulbs are fine but they're OEM and I've heard people ugprading them to the 6000k variant as the standards are 4200k?

Anyone able to help with this query and provide a link to some bulbs? I know Phillips make a lot of them but can't find anything online...

Thank you ! :)

These numbers are not power or brightness they are colour temperature. 4200k is the nearest to daylight so will give you the best view ahead which is after all the purpose of headlights. 6000k will be much bluer and therefore you will not see as well. So not an upgrade more a downgrade.

OEM HID blubs (actually not a blub but everyone calls them blubs) come in two flavours D2R or D2S. You just need to take one out of the car and see if it's labelled D2R or D2S and buy the corresponding one. I think D2R are for reflector use and D2S for the bullseye type.

Its d1s for oem xenon headlight. 6000k which stands for 6000k indicates the shade of light you will get. Best lumen output is 4300k
