metallic bang when accelerating/cornering hard

I have been experiencing some loud metallic noise when i floor the gas, same noise when cornering hard towards left.
When driving normally, the sound is not present.
In terms of place, i guess it comes from the central front part of the car (below the gear shifter or a little bit forward).
Could they be connected with the latest mods (lowering springs, adjustable ball joints)?
I will go to a garage soon to check it out, but i would really appreciate your help before doing that.
