I'm looking at buying a 2008 2.0 tai tomorrow with 80k on the clock.

I've been doing research about timing chain issues so have been trying to find sound clips on YouTube. However I've now discovered that the tsi is generally a tappety sound engine. I've not had a petrol for a few years now so my ears are used to the sound of diesel's

So just some pointers at trying to tel the difference between a loose timing chain and the sound of the engine as it is.

Any other advice would be great
