Scirocco 2.0 tsi 109k miles

Hi guys,
First post.
Ive been after a scirocco for a while now and think I have found a car I am interested in
It's a 2009 car with 109k miles, which I know to a lot of people is a lot of miles, but this car has a very full service history and has been cared for. I'm not a stranger to cars with miles with 100k + and these have always been diesels. The mileage doesn't put me off as I know it has been well looked after. My theory is that any second hand car can throw up an issue at any time really and it's just bad luck when something does go.
However what is concerning me is the timing chain issue surrounding 2.0 tsi. I shouldnt have starting looking on the Internet, but when you start you find lots of daunting issues and I'm sure that there are many more cars on the road with out issues.
I would really like to hear from people who have experience of owning 2.0 tsi scirocco with higher mileage with your experiences and from any one with and real experience of the timing chain issue or people who have taken preventive measures.
Peoples thoughts on whether buying a 100k+ miles scirocco 2.0 tsi is risky or not, but really from people who experience.
