Scirocco Central

Hi!

I've lowered my scirocco 35mm on HnR... and im weighing up whether to just space the stock wheels out or purchase some bbs type wheels... spacers are 80quid... wheels are £400!

I love the stock wheels but wondered if anyone had spaced their stock wheels out on a lowered car? and if so - could i see a pic please?

Interested in seeing any pics too, have lowered in h&rs and am keeping stock wheels, wondering if I should add spacers or not.

I'm on tein springs so not quite as low but should give a good idea. Will send across to you too D Chapman!

Now, for real, post a few pics of 35mm lowered and on spacers with stock 18" Interlagos. I really would like to see. If I like, I will upgrade!

I'm sorry it's not clean! It's on tein springs with 15mm front spacers, 20mm rear, got them from demon tweeks eBay shop.

Thanks bud! Damn, I think it's a little bit higher... 2 more cm and would be nice. But then, you would have problems with stock shocks. That's my worry!
I will probably get those H&R 35mm like you... Better than stock. Also, your spacers look really nice. Look a little bit outside body, so, here in Portugal is not legal. Can you confirm it's really outside the body? Because I might upgrade my brakes to some Q7/Touareg Brembo's (18Z) in the future and I might not have clearence, even using spacer because if the wheel is out of the body, is illegal.

Thought I'd post a quick one clean with the wheels painted! I think it looks pretty good! But I'm debating going down black 3dsm route already!

Bud, tell me something... How did you remove the orange from the indicators? If you put LED indicators, it will keep that orange. It's on the reflector inside.

It was a stab in the dark with those. I cut a round hole in the bottom and smashed the reflector out using pliers and snips. Doesn't look perfect close up as the lense got a bit scratched when I was twisting it. But if you take your time it would look even better. But I'm happy!

I don't know what to do... I would like to do what you did and change the bulb to a strong LED indicator. Then upgrade taillights. I'm planning Dectane's, I just don't know how reliable they are.

OR

I could get Dectane's front side lights and indicators and one day upgrade taillights. But once again, I don't know how reliable they are and FAULT CODES. That's another problem.

Looks like mine but very slightly lower!

Ah ok, thanks! Wasn't sure how low the Tein springs are. I love the grey - mine is salsa red and i always look at it thinking that the silver interlagos wheels look great (when clean) but the gap is much more obvious than on other colours of car!
