Excited

Just need to share my mid life crisis excitement at picking up my Roc next week. Not brand new but equally exciting for me. And I've booked the remap in for the following week just to pep things up a bit more.
OK it may be a diesel but to me it's the pinnacle of a pretty average range of ordinary cars I've previously owned.

Nothing wrong with a bit of a midlife mate. It's a great car, I'm sure you'll love it. Happy motoring!!

Les I love my Tdi and will be sad to see it go. You will enjoy it everyday you drive it mate.
Lets face it, which ever model you own its still a Rocco and hands down better than most of the boring rubbish on the roads.

That's why I went for the Roc. It's just that little bit different and with 227bhp after the remap it'll be plenty for me.

Hi. The thing with the diesel Roc is that you can have your midlife crisis and be sensible at the same time. With a remap and minor suspension work you can have a car that will provide all the excitement that your pacemaker can cope with and still get around 50 mpg. On top of all that, you'll have a car that stands out from all the golfs, TTs, beemers and whatever else the masses are buying. Enjoy.

Absolutely. I've wanted one for a couple of years but finances didn't allow it. I then spent 6 months looking at other cars. But every time I came back to the Roc. I see you used Celtic Tuning. How were they as I'm booked in there?
I wouldn't know where to start with suspension tweeks. I'll have to do some research.

I had a Celtic map on my mk4 golf and was very happy with it, which is why I stuck with them for the Roc. This time I took the car to their site in Cornwall so that I could get it on their rolling road. Again, I was very happy with the results. In terms of suspension, I went with Eibach pro springs and spacers and they've made a massive difference to an already great handling car.

I would hardly call it midlife crisis! It's the most sensible car I've ever owned.
But I'm 22

Picked the car up today from the dealer and had a 300 mile test drive back down to Cornwall. I think I grinned all the way down the motorway. Such a great car. First time I not wanted a journey to end. Now off to pick the wife up from work followed by a little blast round. It's a 10 minute walk for her normally to get home but I'm sure she'll appreciate my thoughtfulness. It is a bit chilly out so can't have her getting cold (the wife not the car)
