Scirocco R stock Stocks on a MKV GTi

Hi, Can i ask if the standard Scirocco R stocks will fit a MKV GTI?
My MKV has over 10yrs on the stock shocks, one had a slight leak happening, I have a set of virutally brand new stock shocks from the R at home,
Can i swap over the R shocks ? As most aftermarket shocks are the same between MKV, MKVI and Scirocco.
