Hi,

Sorry if this info is somewhere else on here but I am a newbie at this and with having a 'Roc' as I only got it a few months ago.

Anyway, the car has been running really well since I got it, until yesterday. Got home from work and then tried to go out in it again about 30 mins later. The car unlocked but when I put the key in the ignition and turned it, the dash lit up for a split second and it all went blank. I could hear a few clicking noises coming from the passenger side area or door, not too sure which, and then it stopped. I tried to lock/unlock the car but nothing happened, although the interior lights came on. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics as I was so hacked off with the car not starting that I didn't even think about taking any.

I called the breakdown people to come out to see if the could sort it out but as things usually go the car started just before he arrived. However, the windows had remained open slightly, as when you open the car the window opes slightly, and wouldn't go up. All the warning lights came on the dash and the MFD was showing 'ESP Fault'. I took the car our for a drive and all the warning lights went out, except the yellow engine light (I think that's what it was) remained on. However, when I hooked up VCDS to it this morning, that light had gone off.

I ran the VCDS scan on all the modules and the following report came back (only included the part of the report with the fault codes):-

Looks like there is a temp sensor fault otherwise you just broke the world record for the lowest recorded temp by 1 deg ;)

Not saying this has any part in your error just thought id point it out. Might mean something :?
