Engine bay Switched Power Supply/Ignition Live

Hi Guys
I am adding a de-reugulated upgraded alternator to my 1.4TSI 2011 but i need to know if there is a 12v ignition live in the engine bay so i dont have to route through the car from the internal fuse box. The new alt doesnt plug in with the standard plug so needs an ignition live to turn it on with the car, anyone got any ideas?
