Scirocco Central

Hi,

My wing mirror was unfortunately kicked off recently cranking the outside frame and indicator casing. I used a parts web site that searches various dealers and comes back with quotes. I then ordered a wing mirror which has just been delivered. The mirror that has arrived is different from mine. Mine has a little indicator underneath whereas the one sent just has a completely plastic casing. Is this because I have a TDI GT which I did specify when ordering the part. Help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I'm aware all Sciroccos, irrespective of model, have LED indicators in them. The only variations are the.optional power fold mirrors which have a puddle light.

It may be that the LED indicator assembly does not come with the mirror and you have to buy it separate.

You need a cut out for the puddle light. What you have ordered is for Golf6 that doesn't come with that.
The 2 versions have a minor difference on the part numbers. The correct part number for scirocco with a cut out is 3c8949102A.
But since you already bought it, just cut an opening with a straight grinder. It will still fit afterall.
