Hi guys,

During this time of the year just wanted to know what's peoples car cleaning routine?

- Keep up the regular wash, once a week/month?
- Wash when the weather is good, sunny & dry?
- Wait until winter is complete and then wash?

For me, I like to keep the rocco as clean as possible and wash & hoover whenever possible.

Thanks

Jason

I try to do as much as i can when i can. If i can wash once a week i will. If not ill wash my car whenever its possible to do so. I think last winter i was washing my car at 1st about every week . Then i ended up leaving it 3 weeks as it was wayyyy to cold to be washing a car. Trouble with leaving it until winters over is all the road salt that will build up.

As i said just do what you can when you can. And take advantage of any sunny breaks.

Give it a good wax before the weather gets too cold and remove alloys and clean and spray with alloy seal. Wash weekly with shampoo with wax repair but helpful to keep this off the front screen if possible. Wash wheel inside and out weekly - with the alloy wheel seal on only requires normal body shampoo to keep them pristine. Use a plastic rod with sponge attached to get to the inside of the wheels. Hose down the underside if salt about.

Hopefully have a break in the weather so I can give the rocco a good wash & hoover, and also might top up the wax protection if there's enough time.

Thanks guys

I have tried one bucket no rinse repeat which is ok for light dirt but as winter draws in I feel it is not feesible and will start harming the paint.

what I can't find in the UK or Manchester in general is coin operated pressure washers like so many other countries that give a damn about how their cars look!
