Hi guys,
I just bought a 63 plate Scirocco 1.4 TSI 160BHP with a few optional extras but I wanted to know where and how I can change the dull yellow headlights and if it is possible to get a carbon fibre or high gloss black 'sticker' to cover up some of the silver interior around the display and the door handles.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You sure can get carbon wrap,eBay has loads. As far as the headlights go you can also chanhecthose too, I have but against the sidelights they still look yellow so I might get some more.
A few people are using some sub £10 bulbs that seem to give a much whiter light

thanks a lot guys. I got some LED's from Halfords earlier to change the light in my footwell and make it brighter. Net stop are the headlight bulbs.
Lewihoga are the xtec the ones that you have?

Yeah lewi, are the bulbs xtec or mtec? Both appear when I eBay them lol. Some appear to be replacement hid bulbs too

Xtec I got mate, they're really good. Can't review durability as only had them a month or so but had no problems. They're great priced too!

Daft question but they are normal halogen fitment bulbs aren't they?

Yup
they have blue coating which counteracts the yellowing creating a nice White light (not blue)

I have just checked the ebay link of the bulbs and it says that they won't fit my car?
I have a 63 plate TSI 1.4l 160bhp with DSG.....

Yeah they will fit matey they're both h7's, the dipped and full beams. Its probably just because yours is new and they haven't updated compatibility list!
