Scirocco Central

Hi all, new to the forum.
Just a quick question
I've managed to get hold of some VW bars for my scirocco off of ebay. Does anybody know for sure wether Thule's cycle carriers are compatible with VW roof bars?

The pro-ride carrier comes with both t bars and locking connectors. The bars probably have a trench in the middle? The T bars fit into these. I think they are pretty standard. My pro-ride fits in my prealpina bars which I think are pretty similar to the stupidly expensive VW bars. Good luck.
