What exterior bits are plastic on the R?

Doing my first detail on my bought used R.
Just wanting to check before I chuck on some Meguiars Plastx!
As far as I can see, the wing mirror caps are plastic, not paintwork?
As is the rear diffuser?
The rest I know as it's the same as my prev 122Ps.

Wing mirror caps are painted and I have polished mine and protected with auto finesse tough coat with no problem

Really? It doesn't look like paint, the swirls certainly don't.
You're talking about the black ones on an R right?

The mirror caps are indeed painted base colour is gray / off-white. The diffuser is black plastic along with the front bumper grills.

Damn then mine are pretty scuffed up. Weird.
Guess lots of wax for now...

Been through a car wash previously? The brushes would produce a strange swirl pattern on the top surface. MOPping should correct the surface if your careful.

Doesnt make a difference if its r mirrors or not they are the same part as a gt roc just painted black
