New Scirocco Owner - Lowering potential

I got myself a 2010 GT TSI last week, instantly fallen in love with it!!
My personal opinion is that the car (candy white) can be slightly improved aesthetically by lowering it a little, and maybe adding matte black alloys (not convinced yet!).

Has anybody done this? I'm only thinking a 20-25mm drop purely for aesthetic purposes!
