Scirocco Central

Hi I'm looking to swap my white bmw 1 series m sport for a vw scirocco and have been in talks with one advertised on eBay and pistonheads. It's cat d and wrapped matte black.

Just wondering if anyone on here has previously owned it, or if anyone's come across this car before?

I wouldn't touch a CAT D

I wrap can cover a multitude of sins on the paintwork.

It might be wise to do a HPI check on the vehicle if you haven't done so already, it would shed some light on the car's history etc.. Well worth doing and might save you from giving up your hard earned money if you might find something dodgy in the history.

I've done a hpi check it was written off front end damage in aug 2009 so was under a year old. It's had a few owners since being repaired. I'm more worried about the wrap I think. I've done a search on here and I'm sure the same car has been owned by a guy on here but hasn't been active since 2013. I haven't got enough posts to msg him yet.
How much would you say that scirocco is worth?

Yh that's the one.

Personally I wouldn't touch it being cat d. It's something that is also a major influence come resale.
