I have added a new album to the SC gallery of my other car, a 1981 DeLorean.
Still less than 20,000 miles from new, although I've added more than any of the previous owners.
Stainless steel body with the infamous gullwing doors. 2.85l V6 PRV engine, manual, black leather interior.

Did they make them in any other colour? I've only ever seen silver. Or was it unpainted aluminium?

I imagine JohnC will know more, but to my knowledge they were made in unpainted stainless steel - only - but you may see of painted ones as some philistines had them sprayed...

Yep, ~9,000 made between 1981 and 1983.
All but 3 left the factory in unadorned grade 304 stainless steel.
The 3 exceptions were actually gold plated (as part of an American Express promotional offer).
Some owners have painted them, but the porcess of getting paint to stick to stainless is actually quite hard. Most owners prefer the plain stainless, no polish, quick squirt of either wd40 or glass cleaner is the usual method.
