Knocking from the rear

09 gt tdi with 53k knocking sounds from rear left and right. On uneven road and potholes. Not so much on crossing elevation though. Is it bushes? Common fault? If so how much is it to fix?

Sounds like the tailgate, common issue, do a search on the forum, you can adjust the stoppers to stop the knocking :-)
