2011 with 75k or 2010 with 30k?

Looking at a 140 Rocco and have a budget, but what should I go for?

2011 with 75k or 2010 with 30k?

The same model but only minor difference to specs

Up to what mileage should I still consider the 2010 over the 2011??

The higher mileage Rocco will have spent most of its life on the motorway probably so suspension and drivetrain won't have had a hard life.

My advice would be if you can afford the lower mileage one then that if the one to go for (on paper) as it will retain more value when you come to sell it.

It all comes down to the condition of the vehicle rather than mileage though.

Looking at the same price for both options.

Would you still go for a 40k 60 plate over a 60k 11 plate?

60 plate is only 6 months (ish) older than 11 plate so I would go with the 40k 60 plate - but the condition of the two should be the deciding factor.

I bought my car around 6 month ago and sounds similar to what you're looking at.
I have a 60 plate 140 which had around 42k when I bought it. It was about the newest I could get in my price range too (with spec I wanted). Although I had hoped for closer to 30k so that sounds good. Bluetooth wasn't standard on mine, I think it becomes standard later.
One thing I'm not sure of, does anyone know, is it correct that it is recommended that the cam belt should be done after 4 years/60k?

Yeah there's 'Buy/Sell/Swap and Group Buys' section which should become available to you after a few more posts if I remember right. When you join you can't get to it right away.

Yes - I think it is 50 posts until you can post in the for sale section if I recall.

I'd go for the lower mileage one as the higher mileage one may also be out of manufactures warranty

Given the Rocco hasn't changed much looks wise outside I'd just shove a cheap private plate on a used Rocco these days

Won't it still say in the log book or somewhere which year it was? Seems like a waste of £200?

I think it's a lot less than that. Could be wrong. But anyway I would also go for the lower mileage roc

Depends when you swan around whether you want to be perceived to be in a newer car or not

I'm the opposite as my 13 plate has a 10 on it, and my 11 plate had a reg on it, I actually font like the perception of a new car lol

Yeah I'm thinking of the lower mileage, seems the ones I look at though are selling fast. Didn't know these cars were so sought after.
