Scirocco Central

hi all,

just brought a new scirocco and my unit does not have satnav or Bluetooth

does anyone know if i will be able to install the Pioneer AVH-X8500BT with still having the wheel functions?

The Dealers usually install a pioneer unit as an aftermarket solution - I am not sure what the model number is, but if it's the same one you have quoted, then they should be able to restore "wheel" functions.

I suspect your car isn't factory new - so what year is it? and what unit is currently in the car

Hi thanks for your reply . The car is used and its 2011 bluemotion 2.0 GT and has RCD510 I believe

Ok, so you have a white (highline) MFD. You should be able to retrofit bluetooth (if not already installed).

Have you looked at the compatibility of the pioneer unit? is it going to be dealer fitted?

Sorry but whats a white highline MFD?

Is the display between the speedo and the tacho red or white? It makes a difference to what can be done.

Its all white ( sorry I see what it means now lol)

Are you certain no Bluetooth? Is there a styrofoam box under the drivers seat?
