It is known the influence of the DCC system in the car suspension.
However, I have found information that relates the impact of the system not only in the steering (also noticeable) but also in the car acceleration and braking. Even in a communication scheme between different car modules, I found that ACC (Cruise Control) is somehow linked to the operation of the DCC.

Apparently, in Sport mode, throttle response is quicker and the braking more abrupt.

Testing the two limit positions (Sport and Comfort) we clearly note major differences in the behavior from the suspension and the steering. In the case of engine or braking, I don`t know if it is a fact or just psychological.

The truth is that the DCC system communicates with the module ABS / ESP and also with the engine module. How he does, I don't know.
Is there a remapping?

Does anyone know a comparison between a car with DCC (in Sport mode) or without DCC in terms of acceleration or braking?

Is the behavior of a car without DCC equal to a car with DCC in normal mode?

The description of the DCC system is in the attached link. It appears that the various modes - comfort, normal and sport work within their own separate 'windows' so are not constant but adaptive to road surface conditions within those windows. The only time this does not happen is if the system fails and goes into 'safe' mode. The shock absorbers then act like conventional shock absorbers. Therefore normal mode cannot be compared to cars without DCC.

The steering is sharper in sport mode as the modules communicate with each other via the canbus. The canbus also connects to the ABS system and accelerator position in the diagrams in the link description but it is not totally clear if their performance is modified by suspension mode although I think it probably is and that is why they are included.

As you said, probably also braking and acceleration is changed but that is unfortunatly not clearly said.
