I'm having to change my mobile phone, but find it difficult
To get one which supports rSAP so I decided to
Up grade my module under seat.
Spoke to my local dealer who told me it would cost me
£800 and odd can this be correct.
Look forwards to comments.

No, that price it just ridiculous. It should be no more than a couple of hundred pounds.

Have a search, as there are a few threads on here on what module you need.

I'm using HTC desire S with the app that enables rSAP support. If you on Android, check this site http://www.android-rsap.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It will cost around 10 euros (depending on location) for the app.

I wouldn't even listen to the dealers. I mean, I was checking last week and they charge circa 2000£ to fit the RNS510.... 2000 pounds!!!!!!!! I could do it myself for a fraction of the price

I'm told on the rsap android forum that the Samsung galaxy s3 will pair out of the box with the older vw Bluetooth module. even thou on this forum some have said it will not. Happy days !!
my question on the forum ref Samsung galaxy
Right I'm asking a very direct question and would welcome a yes or no answer as the subject is so confusing.
Will a new Samsung galaxy s3 pair correctly out of the box with a 2009 vw scirocco with built in premium Bluetooth
reply

No don't think it will as its a windows based phone. I think Samsung are the only smart phones with rsap out of box S3 and S4. Im getting mine at end of month I guess only then will I defiantly find out.

I'd guess the Premium Bluetooth unit was designed around 2008 when Nokia were still using Symbian OS. Doesn't look like Windows Phone 8 supports rsap

CupraBob, did what you suggested looked at the threads and posts and found the most interesting one by Tifa where by he got a upgrade module for his 5NO 035 730C module new module 3C8035730C from Car-Systems in Poland.
I've now ordered the same module which supports all phones it's only for the white MFA/DIS though, and there is quite a striking difference in price £186.12 which includes p/p
So case closed problem solved.
Many thanks to all you other roccers that helped.
