First MOT - FAILED!

Well I had the car in under the last warranty claim before it expired and managed to get the dealer to price match a Kwik Fit voucher I had for an MOT (trust me I wouldn't have gone their either), thought what the hell lets just get it done at once.

Anyway got a call this morning to tell me that the car had failed as the rear offside bearings had gone in the car. Very strange I thought for a new car. Not to worry still covered under warranty - maybe the dealer was feeling a little out of pocket, not that I am a cynical person.

A good point that. My warrant expires early Feb 2013, so will get my MOT done a month before just incase something comes up.

Always get it serviced and MOT'd just before the warranty runs out

Bit of a joke to be honest, looked at warranty extensions but at £370 for a year it's far to expensive. I'm a bit of a cynic and believe that they only failed it to be able to claim something since the dealer only charged me £25 for the MOT as I priced matched with Kwik Fit.

Well maybe. But a failure for that would not be unreasonable on a car with say 60k on the clock after 3 years. Although I'm guessing your's doesn't.
You could put if down to pot holes and too many speed bumps.

True, I still prefer being cynical :)
