Getting speed camera POIs, and better speakers

Hi All,
Just got a 170 diesel GT.
Great car, but I wonder how one can get speed cameras to show up in the satnav. I phoned up the manufacturer (somewhere near Bristol IIRC) and they said I have to drive the car to them for any changes.
Also is there any easy way to get more bass. The existing system has almost no bass. I know it will be tough because all the speakers are relatively small, and I don't want to look like a *******r with a massive woofer in the boot
Has anybody done something not too drastic? My last car was a Soarer which had a 12" speaker under the back window shelf, so that was great.
