Rattling sound on warm engine

Hi everyone,
It's been two months since i got my scirocco and something bothers me lately, that i want to share with you.
It is a 2009 model, which i bought second hand, 58.000km on clock.
There seems to be a rattling sound that comes from the valve cover on the engine, and i hear it when the motor is hot and on idle.
Not cold and not the usual start up-short lasting sound, from the camshaft vane actuator.
To be more specific, when the engine is cold and idling, everything is o.k. As soon as the engine reaches normal working temp, at idle speed only, it starts sounding like a diesel engine!!
When i rev up, no sound. On the road everything seems to be fine.
Any thoughts on that?
