VW Roof Rack - worth it?

Hello,
Any one have the VW roof rack for the Scirocco? Using a generic on the boot one at the moment which is past its best.
Looking to get one for 2 bikes, but dont wanna fork out without getting some decent info.
Not seen any roccos with them but dont know if that's because most people who travel with bikes a lot bought the 'more practical' Golf/Passat?!
