After 6 months waiting...

140 GT 2.0 TDI Bluemotion

- panoramic roof
- Bluetooth
- Dyno audio
- Leather seats

- H&R 35mm
- CF Vinyl

In my opinion I badly need a set of alloys would love Rota grids. Im only 18 so 140bhp is more than enough power although im considering putting a DTUK tuning box in and bring it up to 170 bhp. I love the way the way sits after lowering it. Although i would love to hear a few other peoples thoughts on this could i would would not refit the standard springs because personally I feel it looked like a tractor strandard. Although I must say it has recked the ride comfort completely! it is horrible now and as bad as it looked im kind of looking forward to refitting the old springs in a couple of years

Are you sure they are only 35mm? Your car looks a lot lower!

Totally agree looks way to low for just springs.
Wonder if something else hasn`t been done as it shouldn`t "wreck" the ride too much.

The only thing I can think of is you've got the softer springs for front load up to 1020kg but your car is 1030kg so the stronger springs should have been fitted.

Yea sure the lowest springs you can get are 35mm. Ill have to check the box for the weight it says it allows. the bad news is my ACC has stoped working the light is now flashing. it has only started flashing recently worked perfect for the first couple of months i had the springs in. but funny enough (excuse me i dont know much about cars) i toke the wheel of the other day to try on a different pair of alloys and a wire down by the the spring looked like it had be damaged although i dont have a clue what would of caused that. also I reckon it has effected my handling because i have discovered i can go round corners sideways

Definitely only 35mm you can tell by looking at the rear. Mine is dropped 55mm on H&R Ultra lows and my rear wheels are a lot closer to the arches than above.

Also get your car in a garage and get that suspension checked it does not sound healthy

Must be on the softer front springs then with the heavy engine.
