2.0 TSI Real World Fuel Economy

Hi all, as a prospective (dead certainty) Scirocco owner, I have a number of questions.
I have had a quick browse through posts to find an answer to my first question but thought it better to post again, please forgive me if this has already been covered and feel free to direct me accordingly.

Here goes...

I will be after a second user low mileage car, no older than a 11 plate.
I do about 10,000 to 12,000 a year, a combination of good A Roads and Motorway for three days a week, pootling around for the remainder.
I drive fairly quickly when conditions allow but I'm not the sort of person who has to get everywhere first!
Because I want my wife to use it if she wishes it must have a DSG Box as she has a hip / knee problem.

I am looking at either a 2.0 TDI 170PS or a 2.0 TSI

My question is more aimed at 2.0 TSI owners as I'm pretty sure the 'Oilers' ecomomy won't be an issue.

So, if you have a 2.0 TSI DSG, can you advise what sort of fuel economy I could reasonably expect? This is potentially the only reason I can see not to buy one!

Thanking you in advance.

M.
