Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm Niclas, and here is my Scirocco!

at the beginning of my topic i want to say hallo to every-rocco fans in here !

My Rocco is from the late of 2009, salsa red color,1.4 160 (chip tuned) to max power.upgraded front breaks to brembo, this car was to high when i put on the rims (19") so i ordered KW 3 inbox-line(coilovers) to get it lower, and now i am in love with this car ! when i ordered the rims the dealer told me not to put on semi slicks, but i didn't care about what he said because i will drive this beauty on the track. i will do some upgrades in the future. i will put on the Scirocco R front bumper and get new exhaust system and rear bumper !

Like the car, just don't like the ledstrips on the frontbumper. It's just to much.

How many kilometers do you have with chip, already ?
I think 178kW is tooooooooooo much for 1.4 without any "hardware" update :-o

hmm, i think i have 8.000 kilometers with chip. on the paper it says that i have 243 hp in it, i don't think the computer lies ?

I'm not questioning your power, just writing that 243 is too much without any other changes of components in the engine...

i haven't done nothing else.. I don´t know if the man who tuned the car has made other changes. i just paid and drive away with a big happy smile

yes, it was turbokarlsen hwo remapped it

I've been sitting here and thought a little on what to do with the engine.
found a site on the web that gave me an idea, and I found out that if i upgrade the turbocharger i will get 270 ps without chip tuning
I have sent some e-mail with Them and they told me that with remapping i will get over 300 ps in the car !!

i need some time for my self to think about that, but i will come back and tell you what i will do next with the engine upgrade !

How much this turbo costs ? ....with this upgrade you MUST upgrade other parts of the engine...transmission, connecting rod, clutch and others. But ! If you will have 300ps, it is VERY INTERESTING upgrade for me, tooo.... Looking forward to your upgrade ;-).

When remapped to 200bhp, the supercharger already shows signs of not being capable of delivering as much as it should be, if you upgrade to a bigger turbo you're probably gonna suffer a huuuuge turbolag. Also the clutch, transmission etc as mentioned above needs to be upgraded. Even the pistons, rods etc will probably need a upgrade as you're pushing 100% of the original engine output.

Im going to another track day on saturday so ill will get some pictures when I'm on track driving !

But I do agree with the others... Surely a 1.4 pushing 240bhp is too much for the standard clutch/internals, never mind going the Big Turbo route lol.

until that day i will do some upgrades : new michelin pilot sport cup plus tires.
: New exhaust system and power filter.
: upgrade rear and front bumper to R.

Some thing you other rocco fans want to change or some changes i need to do ?
