Noticed today my R is making a weird squeaking noise when idling, at the same tempo as you get from the ticking when idle.

Any ideas what this could be, it's done 370 miles.

thats odd, as its brand new, take it back... the mechanic should know.

I would suggest leaving it for a bit first, as the car only has 370 miles on it (unless the noise sounds very peculiar), it may just all settle in as the miles go on.
So long as temps are all ok and it drives ok, I would give it a bit longer first.

Havn't heard it for a day or so now so fingers crossed theres nothing wrong.
