Hello,
I am seeing, on both the headlamps, condensation build up on the inside of the lens when I wash the car or spray the washer jets when the engine is still warm, is this normal?

Hi Tim, welcome to Scirocco Central
Mine occasionally have condensation but it clears when the lights warm up. The manual says this is normal.

The manual says that condensation is normal in the Scirocco headlights - and assuming that your DRLs are not deactivated then it should clear when ever you are driving the car as the lamps heat up.
Odd I know but supposedly normal
Edit: Oh yeah, and I get condensation in my headlamps too!

I've seen it mentioned before. Yes it's normal. Despite them being closed units you'll always get some moisture inside in the manufacturing.

They are not sealed units. Hence the condensation. . . .

Yes it's normal, every car i've ever owned has had condensation behind the headlights, when it's stood during the winter, or when washing the car. It goes as soon as you drive it.

never happened in my Mk5, suppose it makes sense if its not a sealed unit, but its not very good.

I suppose driving for 10 mins at 8am from hotel to work, and the 10 min drive back at 8pm isnt enough to burn off that condensation.

So had my car just over a week and I have noticed some condensation in the corners of the head lamps, see pic:
I have the auto lights on during the day but not sure that makes any difference.
Anyone else had this? Any ideas?
Cheers
Rob

It's fairly common and nothing to worry about apparently.

Mine did it to start with, goes after a couple of weeks. The other roc in the family also has the condensation but that's not a week old yet.
