New mirror needed!

Momentary lapse of concentration meant I caught my mirror on my garage getting the car out! Everything fell apart but luckily the painted top is fine. Need a new mirror, mirror surround and the back bit with the indicator lense. The only bit thats broken is the very edge of the lense. If it didn't poke out from the casing so much I wouldn't have caught it, you can't see it from the drivers seat. Need to glue the bits back together ready for Ultimate Dubs at the weekend, it won't look that noticeable to be fair though. The indicator bit is on back order so won't come for another month! Mirror glass will be here tomorrow though. Cost me about £50 all in, wasn't as bad as I was expecting but still a stupid mistake. :grumpy:

I've also done this, but got away with a light surface scratch.
Hope you get it fixed easily enough.

Almost done it with mine as well. But as i reverse into the garage i am only rolling in at low speed. Still only got a couple of inches to spare though :eyepop: :eyepop:

I was probaby only 1-2 mph in reverse. Literally just rolling off the clutch very slightly. The slightest knock took it off!

When I get out of the car to open my garage door, I've taken to folding in the passenger-side door mirror; the mirrors are big (probably because rear visibility is otherwise poor), but they're tricky to get in a standard sized garage opening.

I did exactly the same getting my Roc out the garage :( :( The painted top flew off mine unbroken.

I was impressed though how well designed the mirror housing is making replacing it easy and not as expensive as I was expecting.
