Just chased up and;
Ordered 27/05
Scheduled build week 35 (w/c 24/08)
Delivery date approx 28/09

Was hoping to get end of August ready for a trip down to Cornwall! (Now have to do it in the missus' Aygo!!! with no A/C!!!!!)

Oh well, guess I can look forward to having the updated interior and a 59 plate.

Ordered 16th may , got my build date of week 30 !!! So the factory is actually closed when they are supposed to be building my car then ??? What a joke !!! Hopefully still get the car for 1st sept !!

Just found out my car (ordered 7th April) is being built this week, with delivery expected within 4 weeks depending on ship timings.

Just had a call from my dealer and my cars build date has moved forward a week from 29 to 28 so it's not in the shutdown period.

He also said alot of the VW factories are now not having summer shutdowns due to low car stocks !!!

So many differing waiting times between order and build date .
Ours was ordered 16th May been given build week 28 ( week commencing 8th July ).

I ordered mid April and have been given a build week of 27, which I think means mine is born today! It took a while to go through as its a lease car through work and then Leaseplan, so had to send copies of driving licences back and forward to confirm the order. Have been told by the dealer to expect delivery early August.

gone for a GT TDI 140 in Salsa red with Dynaudio, premium bluetooth and mats.

Starting to get excited as it just over a month to wait now!

Ordered 15 April, built wk 23, had a call from Lease Company today, they have sent the finance docs today which I have now sent back. He said will either get it end of this week or beginning of next!!! Come on, I'm just a wee bit excited!!

Finally confirmed!

I placed the order in 10th Feb and today got confirmed BW 30. The car should be ready to roll on mid August. Just 26 weeks of waiting. Tbh, it could be worse

Before ordering they said estimated build/delivery is 6 months...I ordered it anyway...after ordering they confirmed the proper build date...

I guess they had more interest to sell the Golf VI's (they had in stock), instead of selling the Scirocco...

They are on the spot...I recieved a call friday that my Scirocco was at the dock. This week they will do their magic and I can pick it up end of this week or else beginning of week 29.

OMG! That's is far too long!

My car was ordered in Switzerland on the 27 March was built week of 22 June was meant to get it this week but there was a hiccup and the car is stuck in Zurich and I am in Geneva you would think they would just put it on a transported and bring it down its only 2hours drive away, come on VW work with me. Now I am only going to get it beginning of next week. I so wanted it for this weekend for a burn in the mountains. To get some kms on it before i hit the Nurburgring pffft

We got a week 28 build date (this week).....it was in 2nd paint inspection on Tuesday and now its "production finished" dealer suggested it will take 2-3 weeks to land in the UK....

Hi Ken,

Does that mean it has definitely left the factory before the shut down? Mine is also Build Week 28 and I'm advised that unless the car is outside the factory gates it'll now be stuck inside till everyone returns from holiday in 3 weeks time!

I've got my build date confirmed at week 34. I've placed my order in week 20, and the estimated delivery will be week 40.

I ordered mine on week 25 with the dealer, but the dealer can't place the order with VW yet due to having no allocation available. But the dealer thinks delivery will be November lastest................ and to think there is a credit crunch!!
