Thanks Trix for replyin back!! Yea the fancy lookin pedels was the metal pedels lol so you cant get them from the dealers/factory fitted anymore. Ordered the car 11 weeks ago this friday and havent heard anything about a build date. Is it a hard job to add them to the order, didnt think it would be cause they are nothin mayjor. Can the front ashtray up at gear stick be retro fitted after if ya wanted, if they wont add to th order?? Thanks

it is probably one of the easiest retrofits to do it just isn't quite as cheap as if you had ordered it at factory build.
i'd be inclined to say its very close to build & they have not been updating you, rule of thumb don't ask don't get

I would be interested to know if this became standard with MY2012 cars as I've just picked mine up with bluetooth which I specced as an option and paid £250 when i ordered in March

contacted the dealer earlier on trix and she checked the system and the car is built and all just waitin on shipping date not bad considerin only ordered on the 20th may. Cuprabob ask dealer about the bluetooth and she said that it does come as standard on them now but if it ordered on are after 1st off august. she has to find out how much for the pedals but quoted me £120 to suply/fix mudflaps is that dear.

Thanks for asking the question and confirming it's standard if ordered after 1st Aug. Just saved me a call to my dealer tomorrow asking for my £250 back :-)

That would be cool... but im not holding my breath ;-) After the latest, "HUGE" update there's not much to fix ;-)

Loving the new DSG shifter, thought the changes were just cosmetic but there is a much more of a mechanical feel when using the new lever to change up and down in manual mode. Far less playstation than the previous gen. Expect the next model year changes may bring in some new colours, would love to see the R in pearl / metallic red like firespark and also in Grey.

I love it, would more than welcome it in my future Scirocco, but most of all I'd wish for something like the classoc Golf GTI:

Really pleased about the new bluemotion diesels, no change in performance but a big reduction in company car tax! I'm very happy!
