How did you find this out, and is the information directly from VW? Having dispute with dealer about this right now, they claim 5w40 is correct I say no, 5w30.RW1 wrote:They will have almost certainly have put in 504/507 standard. Irrespective of 12 month or longlife servicing.
Why don't you give the dealer's service desk and ask which oil brand they are putting, 5w30.
