Now that really is horrible, but there are more than one hints of Scirocco in the design & fixtures, they obviously were impressed with the Scirocco, they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

No but it's kind of similar.

That's what I meant, they're so very similar, the vents and the pad at the front of the seat especially.

That's what I thought first off - but I think this is a lot tackier. Why anyone would want one is beyond me.

The high-performance Hyundai Veloster Turbo has been spied at the Detroit motor show ahead of its official debut tomorrow. The model pictured here is destined for the US market, with a show reveal for a European version, which will include the UK, penciled in for the Geneva motor show in March.

A four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing around 210bhp will power the US-spec Veloster. The spec of the European car has yet to confirmed, but the power figure is not expected to differ drastically for its US sibling.

The Veloster Turbo, which produces just 138bhp in its present most potent version, will feature a range of styling and chassis modifications as part of its overhaul. These include a more muscular front-end, flared arches and a deeper rear bumper, with sports springs the major suspension change.

The US will get their version of the Veloster Turbo by the summer. UK buyers are tipped to get the car in the second half of 2012.

Did the certification on it - it's all right I suppose BUT it is still a Hyundai. It's for those that cannot handle a real Scirroco. All show, and the Koreans still can't make a car that handles anything like properly. Ok for the missus I suppose!
