I believe BBC are releasing a iPlayer app as well this year.

My list is:

Sky News
BBC News
Sky +
TV Guide
Angry Birds - great game!! Addictive
Engadget - Tech News
Tapatalk - Allows you to access forums easier than through Safari
Imdb - an app version of http://www.imdb.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - quite handy sometimes!
Milog - only on my work iPhone (Records mileage and such)
MSN Messenger
Bubble Xplode - Kinda like Bejeweled
Blizzard Authenticator - Key Code to play World of Warcraft
Redball2 - Bouncing Red ball around the screen to get past obstacles
Implode - Have to place explosives on building so they colaspse.
Valet Hero - Park Cars
Solitare
Runway - Have run a runway, by dragging planes as they land, to refuel, and pick up passnegers/cargo - all without letting it hit the other planes you are controlling landing - very addictive!
London Tube Map
Right Move - Looking for a new house atm!
VNC/RDP - Allows me to remote on my servers at home.
Redlaser - Scans barcodes and then searches the web for prices.

Apple are doing their 12 days of Xmas promotion again.

From Dec 26th they're giving away one a day of apps, movies and TV shows.

There's a free notification app if you're interested.

EA also have a big sale on. I got SimCity for the iPad for only 59p :D

Just got a free app called Planetary for the iPad.

An interesting take on navigating through your music. All the artists are shown as galaxies then when you choose one it zooms in to show the albums as planets and if you pick an album it shows the tracks as moons. When you choose a track it shows the others orbiting and traces a circle for the duration of the track.

Neat :)

Photosynth. Free app that makes 360 degree panoramas dead easy. And then you can send pano file, upload it etc. to others.

I recently got 'Find my Friends'. iPhone, iPod and iPad

Neat app. If one of your friends has an iOS device you can request to track their location for a short time. Handy if you need to meet up with someone or your parents are wondering what time you'll arrive somewhere.
