sorry ain't checked in for a few days so i'm assuming your a happy R Tech Boy now.

when i got mapped it was raining so couldn't really push on....but had the map for a few days now and can report the power is so smooth it feels as if its not been feckled with like its stock out the factory. this enables you to use more of the power and this in turn makes you have more useable power. the power delivery is spot on, no power surge then flat line just nice useable power. love it is an understandment.

NewSouthPerformance Boost Gauge on the MK5 was Ace.

nothing really to report only that i went to Shell to fill up on the finest V Power and the cover for the petrol cap refused to release. jumped on this forum and found it was a sort of common problem, but at the time i was thinking i forgot how to open the cover.

Had to hold down the unlock on the key fob and the bloody thing popped open. WTF!!!

Is there a recall on this as not interested in jacking my car up at a petrol station to manually sort this out!

I experienced the same problem with mine, such a scary moment especially if you're nearly out of fuel (luckily I wasn't), you just need to re-lubricate the locking mechanism, I used WD40 and sprayed it on then opened/closed a few times for the WD40 to get into the mechanism and lubricate it all and I've never had the problem since, you'll notice the cover opens much easier and smoother too.

Just seen this myself! Yep very happy - service and product is incredible (much better than previous revo), although a suspect knocking has me a little sceptical of giving it a blast properly. Your absolutely right, the power delivery is amazing with linear. If you go decide to go for his stage 2 and dsg map, I can thoroughly recommend it
