Yeah OK, the colours on the website and in the brochure aren't a true representation of how the Roc looks in reality. However, I didn't find it too hard to research this on the net and find plenty of photos of different coloured Rocs in a range of weather/light conditions including at night. Just a thought...

Those colours from the web site are really off. I remeber seeing the Summatra one and thinking shit (litterally) what have I done as I orderd my car unseen going by the paint samples in the dealership.
Weirdly Summatra is closer than anything to the Pewter colour on the site. Summatra is dark gun metal grey with some coppery mettalic undertones. Not cowpat brown. And probably closest to the colour the original poster was after. But you do need to see it, and all the other metallic finnishes in the flesh.

There would have been a Tornado Red Scirocco sitting in my garage had it been available, Salsa just doesn't do it for me.

I almost did order Salsa Red thinking it was Firespark! Don't think Salsa is bad but it's no Firespark IMO.

Salsa is so dull next to a Tornado Red Golf (my last car). The salsa doesn't "glow" as a bright red should.

I only buy blue cars for reasons of personal taste (and the love of the Greenock Morton) and in Germany you only seem to see candy white sciroccos for some reason ( but they are very conservative with vehicle colours anyway, with no were near the plethora of colours and shades that you see on British roads).

I was a bit worried and had no idea what rising blue was like in the flesh until I picked it up, I traded in a performance blue facelift ST and when parked next to each other at the dealers (on an overcast day) the colour was a very close match indeed.

If I was looking for a red one I would be a bit disappointed with the poor choice available, but I would also like the fact that they are very few and far between in that particular colour (or that is how it appears to myself).
