I could do with another app of supernatural by now. Probably doesn't 'need' more but I'd like to build it up a little. I think I'll give it a once over with a gtechiq sealant trial bottle I've got

I also used illusion and loved it! Its a show wax so its not designed for durability. Although it lasted 4 months on my car at least.
If anyone is after auto finesse waxs keep an eye on amazon as they are often on sale. For example. Desire rrp £120. It was reduced to £78 a few months back. Illusion went down to £50. Or keep an eye in the sales section in a few weeks as im decanting some waxs into smaller pots to sell on..

This use to be my collection. Have since sold a few things. Used up a few things and replaced with different brand products. My Collection is certainly not as big as it use to be.

just an updated pic of my collection. i have more samples , metal polish and dual foam apps missing. i had packed everything away when i remembered about them :wall::wall:. i have come to the conclusion that there is something addictive with the air fresheners. cant seem to get enough ! ...

I've got a bit of a thing for air fresheners too, I've found the longest lasting I've had is my current one, California scents xtreme. Had it in there a good month I reckon. Can still smell it

My twopenneth FWIW - everything WD says apart from - it's not OCD it's CDO because the letters have to be in the correct alphabetical order

Now back on topic - I use CG Blacklight on my reflex silver and it gives a beautiful shine, lasts about a month and beads brilliantly

But I also use Werkstat Acrylic - the WA is so easy to apply and the finish is sublime.

And I also use Auto Finesse Temptation Which is also very good though hard to apply (lots of working in) it is great and not unreasonably priced but needs to be reapplied too often for my liking

SRP and extra Gloss finish are also in my cleaning box

Going back to the original post, Auto Glym Super Resin Polish but it is very dusty, very chalky.

An equivalent that is cheaper and out-performs it hands down is Autosmart Platinum. You probably wont be able to tell on such new/well kept paintwork. But get something a few years old, a bit neglected, a bit dull, a bit scratched up, and Platinum smashes SRP out the water and is nowhere near as chalky.

As for waxes/sealants etc, I always used to like Auto Glym HD wax, never been a fan of Dodo Juice personally. But since I have found Wolfs Chemicals sealants, I will NEVER look back. They're so easy to use, beading like no other, sheeting is incredible. Put a hose pipe over the car and it'll near enough dry itself! As previous people have said, its all personal preferance for me. But if just one person trys Wolfs Chemicals sealants as a result of this, they will see where I'm coming from!

I use Autobrite Repel. Brilliant stuff. No need for wipers on the motorway. Beads water off incredibly

Not seen that one. I'll have a search. The stuff I mentioned seemed awesome but it's £30 odd for 30ml I think,just enough to do a whole car & the windscreen 2-3 times I think

I haven't personally mate. Used rainx before and that was good. There is quite a few of these windscreen sealants on the market which all offer the same thing for various prices. Depends on what your prepared to pay really. The gteqnic kits are very popular and get excellent feedback , but for me their biggest drawback is the price.
Car chem do a glass sealant along with autobrite . angelwax h2go gets a lot of positive reviews and is well priced. I plan on trying h2go at some point.

I've treated myself to the G1 15ml kit which will supposedly do the whole car (windscreen 3 coats, rear 2, side windows 1). It was a tenner and I already had a bottle of G6 glass cleaner (another tenner), reviews seem good so it's worth a try. I'll give it a go at some point after I pick up my car, stop driving it for 5 minutes and the weather holds out long enough to apply it.

I think my main interest in it is being very hopeful in thinking that it might help over the winter nights with the icy screens. Lol. If water runs off then surely there's going to be less chance of it being as bad freezing.

Yeah I was hoping for the same, supposedly the ice just sits on top of the coating and can be lightly brushed off with little effort, but I'll believe it when I see it

I used rain-x in the past . The water repellancy ( is that even s word ? Lol) was amazing - so much so that in heavy rain you didn't need to use the wipers ! However after 3 moths it buggered up my wiper blades (terrible smearing) and I haven't used it since
